So we had a guest artist come to BYU, Ron Mazellan, who is really amazing. Very motivational speaker! Anyway, he taught a technique where you start with a drawing, he did a pencil drawing, I decided to start with a nu pastel drawing, then you mount it onto a board with matte medium then do oil glazes over that. You end with popping out the highlights with a kneaded eraser. It was really fun to try out and I entered the piece into a show at my school. We will see!
In case you are wondering, I heard that if you write your name on every subject line for new posts then its more likely your name will come up first when googled, I hope it works!
