We recently moved to Virginia and I LOVE it! It's so beautiful and full of culture and history. I explored Historic Yorktown, and did some landscape painting. It had just rained, and the fog filled this field and the trees almost disappeared. So amazing! I love painting the contrast between the chroma filled forefront and the hazy background. I'm also using a new color in my palette. I added naples yellow, made by Old Holland. It's almost a warm white, with just a hint of yellow. I love finding new colors! I haven't changed my palette in over a year, even though I try new colors. It's hard to find a color that you want to add to your palette for good.
